Number Day in Rowan
Rowan celebrated Number Day 2022 in style. We all looked wonderful in number, shape and patterned clothes. We explored number, shape and pattern with lots of fun activities. We particularly enjoyed creating art work inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian and writing number riddles, clues to working out our hidden number. Maybe you could write a 'Guess my Number' riddle too and ask your grown ups to solve the clues. Have a look at some of our many photographs that show how muc

We have enjoyed reading this story and finding out all about bats and how to help bats to survive. We have also designed and written our own 'Save the Bats' posters with super tips on how to help. Emma told us all about bats and even answered some of the questions we had sent to her. Part of the online author session was a dra

We're Going on a Shape Hunt....
Rowan have been busy for the past three weeks learning about the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We went outside for some of our lessons. We sat in our lovely new classroom and used some of the resources to make 2D shapes. We then explored 2D and 3D shapes in our school gardens. We used our skills as photographers to record the shapes that we found. Here are some of the shapes we found. There are lots more, can you find any more when you are outside?
