Parent Forum at Blackmoor Park Infant School

Parent Forum

At Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten, we value strong partnerships between home and school. Our Parent Forum plays an important role in helping us work together to support every child’s learning, wellbeing, and development. What is the Parent Forum?

The Parent Forum is a friendly, informal group made up of parents and carers who meet regularly with members of the school leadership team. It provides an opportunity to:

  • Share ideas and suggestions

  • Give feedback on school matters

  • Discuss new initiatives or developments

  • Support events and help strengthen our school community.

Why Take Part?

We believe that parents and carers have a vital voice in school life. The Forum is a chance to contribute to discussions, offer constructive feedback, and help shape the way we do things at Blackmoor Park. Whether it is sharing thoughts on school routines or suggesting ideas for improvement, your views truly make a difference.

How it Works

  • Meetings are held once a term and are open to all parents and carers

  • Agendas are shared in advance and meeting notes are made available afterwards

  • You are welcome to attend as often as you like – there is no long-term commitment

Topics We Have Recently Discussed

  • Improving home-school communication

  • Planning inclusive family events and activities

  • Discussing raising the profile of the school and marketing Reception provision for September 2025
