We have continued looking at the work of the 'Impressionists'. We used our techniques to colour mix and create beautiful 'Still Life' pictures of blossom, that we found growing in the school field. We hoped to capture every detail that we could observe. We learned that great scientists in history such as Charles Darwin were also great artists so any new plants and flowers, that were discovered, could be recorded in the days when cameras had not been invented.

Willow got a very interesting letter last week. It was from the CEO of Google Maps. They needed our help to photograph every living plant and flower in our school gardens.
