We are fantastic learners

In Year 1 we have been Musicians, Mathematicians and Scientists. We are investigating Christianity and what it means for Christians. We have been developing our skills as team players, sharing and taking turns. This week we took Maths outside. We played games developing our understanding of number getting into groups of 2,3, 4 and 5. We estimated how high we needed to throw the ball. We counted how many catches we could do within a minute. Created a range of 2d shapes and numbers using natural materials (stones, leaves, sticks). We counted the cones on the bikes as we weaved in and out of them. We had a fantastic time!
