Early Mark Making

During our first week back after the October half-term, we have challenged the children to mark make with the goal of writing our name. As we have been working on our fine motor skills already, many of the children love the extra challenge of writing something meaningful. We are reminding the children of how to hold their pencil correctly and that copying our name is the first step beofre they can do it independently. After finding their own name, they sit or stand and that's when the writing starts!
