Blackmoor Rewind – Party on the Playground Update
Dear Parent/guardian,
We hope you have had a good Summer and have enjoyed any holidays you may have had. The Year 2 Festival planned for Wednesday 2nd September is going to go ahead as planned. Some activities maybe indoors as well as outdoors as there could be some rain during the festival.
To try and ensure that all children can be dropped off and picked up safely then it is necessary for us to stagger the start and finish times slightly and have different entry and exit points for each class. All 3 classes will need to be dropped off and picked up from their old Year One classroom door at the front of school.
Chestnut Class need to be dropped off at 2.45pm and picked up at 4.45pmfrom Mrs Reaney’s door (Year 1 door on far right hand side of school).
Beech Class need to be dropped off at 2.55pm and picked up at 4.55pmfrom Miss Wilkin’s door (Year 1 middle classroom door).
Pine Class need to be dropped off at 3.05pm and picked up at 5.05pmfrom Miss Pendleton’s door (Year 1 door on left hand side of school next to main entrance).
There is a one way system in place which needs to be followed please and it is really important that you stick to the times stated above so that we can try and ensure there are not too many people at the front of school at the same time. If only one parent/carer can bring each child please then that will also help reduce the number of people moving around at the front of school.
The new playground equipment has been installed and we will give all the children the opportunity to play on this in small groups so can you please ensure that your child is wearing appropriate footwear, preferably trainers. The inflatable slide may be set up indoors depending on the weather.
If you could please send your child in with a waterproof jacket as some activities will be outside. They do not need any money.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing the children on Wednesday.
