Day two, home learning for Elm class.
The children have been working extremely hard on finding the missing sets for addition and subtraction with 2 digit and single digit numbers which we looked at this morning.
In addition to this we looked at phoneme spotting and homophones and could identify some examples. Some of the children had been using their measuring skills with their ingredients for baking.
Some of the children designed healthy salads as a follow up to our fruit salads and Oliver even prepared this for his family for lunch.
This afternoon‘s zoom session was a chat about our day followed by the story
“Giraffes can’t Dance”. It was nice to hear that some of the children had been out in their gardens getting some exercise and nice fresh air.
