Designing Dangerous Dinosaurs

Whilst reading our book 'Harry and his dinosaurs go to school', here in Kindi we've been thinking about different questions we could ask our new teachers and children that have already experienced what it is like in Reception. We have read that Harry took his dinosaurs with him and helped him get comfortbale in his new classroom, so we thought what dinosaurs we would take. Do they have sharp teeth, long claws, lots of prickles on their backs, long necks or even wings?! This helps us explore many different themes such as: feelings and emotions, creative things, extending vocabulary with wonderful adjectives as well as pencil control. Lots of fun had by all!
