Comparing and Contrasting Texts!

Last week in Chestnut we read the story of 'Dogger' by Shirley Hughes. We then looked at an Oxford Reading Tree picture book called 'The Lost Teddy'. We talked to our talking partners about what was the same or 'similar' and what was different.

We then had to think of how the story would end. We wrote our ideas on snowballs, threw them and then added another idea on another snowball. The best bit though as always is getting to throw them at Mrs Ware at the end. We used these ideas to write own own version of the ending of the story.
