We had an amazing time on our trip to Walton Hall Gardens in Warrington. We had fun on the playground and managed to climb, swing, investigate and explore! We went on an autumn walk around the park and gardens and we found lots of treasure on our treasure hunt. We even fed the fish - they like to eat bread! The best part of our walk was finding a large tree with low branches and lots of leaves. It was so much fun climbing and rolling in the leaves.
One of the Park Rangers guided us around the zoo and we got to meet lots of animals. We saw guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, squirrels, pigs, donkeys, peacocks, chickens and even ferrets. We found out about what kind of animals they are, predator or prey and if they are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores.
Year 1 would definitely recommend Walton Hall Gardens for a family day out. Have fun!!
