Learning a new skill in Forest School

October 20, 2017

Session 5 of Forest School and today Mrs Ware introduced us to the tool pit and learning a new skill. We found out that when we want to use the tools, we have to be invited into the tool pit and only one at a time can be in there with Mrs Ware.

Today we peeled carrots for our snack, even if we didn't eat them we still had a go and peeling was really good fun. We all impressed Mrs Sullivan with how talented we were at peeling.

The great thing about Forest School is that we decide what we would like to do in the sessions but we can always do the things we have enjoyed from previous sessions. We really like planting and shelter building so every week we can continue to explore these activities.

Mrs Greenway knows lots about growing and plants and she helped us to plant. The flowers on the plants were really colourful.

Next week is our last week of Forest School and we are going to celebrate all the fun and new things we have done. We have decided to cook some camp fire food!
