This week we wanted to build shelters, create 'bog-it' tree people and be creative with natural objects. And as you can see we certainly did.
To make our 'bog-it' tree people we had to mix our own mud, not too much water and not too little or it wouldn't stick. We then found natural materials to provide the features for our faces, such as berries, leaves, grass, sticks and stones.
Shelter building was fun and we solved so many problems as we explored. The ground was too soft for some of the canes, the tarpaulin was too heavy for the canes and we needed to find creative ways to join tarps together.
Next week if the weather is dry we will be making a camp fire, boiling the kettle for hot chocolate and toasting brioche....watch this space!!!
