Welcome back to school, we hope you all had a lovely restful summer!
Your children have settled back into school life and their new classes really well..
We are very proud of the way they have made the change from Early Years into Key Stage 1.
We have a very busy year planned starting this half term with investigating Animals, including humans, Ourselves and our senses.
We will be experimenting, investigating and recording!
We will also be involved in many Drama Experiences...this will help with our Talk for Writing, and give us lots of ideas for creative writing!
Could we please remind you to write your childs name in ALL UNIFORM including P.E kits.
All children need to have a P.E kit in school, shorts, tee shirt and pumps.
Reading books will be changed at the begining of the week, Book bags can be purchased from the school office for £3.50 . Please ensure book bags are brought to school every day as important letters, money and childrens work can be safely transported between home and school.
Learning Logs will go home on a Friday and please return on Wednesdays. Activities in the Learning Log consolidate learning for the week in school, we encourage you to support your child in completing at least one activitiy, but you can complete as many as you want!
1R gets busy!
